Questioning purchase

Had this product about 6 months now, I bought this when it was time to change the fluid thinking it would help out with transmission temperatures. It did not lower the transmission temperatures at all.

Sweet! Love it!
Have to work to get my tranny to hit much over 150 degrees even on hot days. Usually around 135. Winter time just over 100. Got it to touch 195 one time climbing a long, vertical switchback with cab-over camper and flatbed trailer behind. Before the pan it would go way over that to the point that I would have to stop and cool off.
Easy to install. Very heavy aluminum. Love the drain plug.
It did take 11 quarts to get it back to full though. Must have gotten some fluid from the torque converter.

I ordered my trans pan after Christmas and just installed it on my truck, the 727-DD is only about a half inch higher than the transfer case cross memeber. If any one else has a pavement princess like I do and all you do is tow then I would strongly urge to spend the extra cash and put the bigger pan on the trans.

Yeah this pan is nice and durable also. thick aluminum but i don't see the added temp drop in this product i also have an secondary trans electric cooler with new pan it still reaches 169-190 no difference in the use of product. i believe my other stock pan cooled down quicker also. sorry

Pull a 10,000 pound fifth wheel with my 2006 3500 Cummins. Trans temp has never gone above 125 degrees since I installed the pan!!
