Description
Swap out the factory air intake system on your Dodge diesel with the AFE Pro Dry S Stage 2 Type Cx Intake System 51-10412 from XDP. The AFE Stage 2 cold air intake increases horsepower by up to 18HP and torque by up to 24 lbs. x ft. It outflows the factory intake by up to 117%. This intake consists of a heat-shielded air box with a one-piece intake tube. The PRO DRY S performance air filter, with 3 layers of synthetic media, handles prevents airborne debris form reaching the engine. The filter is made of 100% polyurethane for durability and can be cleaned multiple times. The intake tube is made of heat-insulating molded plastic for improved performance and lower intake air temps. Installation is easy with factory mounting points.
High-Temp Silicone Coupling: This coupling is designed to meet modern elevated engine compartment temperatures with a 4-ply silicone reinforced configuration.
Durable Heat Shield: A one-piece powder-coated heat-shield is used to keep the air intake charge cool and dense.
4" 360 Degree Air Filter: A cone 360 degree round air filter is used for maximum filtration (99.2% efficient) and convenience (requires no oils to clean). The PRO DRY S performance air filter features 3-layers of progressively finer mesh synthetic "oil-free" media and is constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles.

I'm so glad XDP recommended to buy AFE Pro Dry. The quality is very nice. Installation was easy and the illustrations helped. Took 30 to 40min. on my 07 Dodge. You notice a little more turbo whine over the stock stuff but a couple days go by and you're like "what extra whine". Definately added up to better throttle response and fuel mileage.
