Banks Power 42168 Super-Scoop

The Banks Power 42168 Super-Scoop from XDP will enhance the effectiveness of the Banks Ram-Air Intake System on your 2003-2007 Chevrolet 6.6L Duramax LB7/LLY/LBZ. This scoop attaches below the front bumper, forcing a massive amount of cool, pressurized air into the into your Banks cold air intake’s filter housing. The air delivered to the engine has greater density and can make more power than the warmer air inside the engine bay because it is drawn from outside the engine compartment. With this scoop’s cooler denser air, fuel economy can improve while exhaust temperatures and smoke are reduced. It also has built-in channels for rainwater and debris to drain out of the back of the scoop.
