The Banks Power 42190 Super-Scoop for your 2003-2009 Dodge Ram 5.9L/6.7L Diesel is an add-on product to the Banks Ram-Air Intake System. Banks' exclusive Super-Scoop is a great add-on product to the Ram-Air Intake System on your truck. The Super-Scoop attaches below the front bumper, forcing a huge charge of cool pressurized ram air into the Ram-Air Intake's air box. The air provided to the engine now has greater density and makes more power than the warmer engine bay air because it is drawn from outside the engine compartment. The Super-Scoop’s cool denser air improves fuel economy while smoke and exhaust temperatures are reduced. This scoop also has built-in funnels for rainwater and debris to drain out of the bottom.

Bought the super scoop along with a banks intake. Banks has nothing but well built thoroughly tested products and this is just that. The turbo sounds great and the scoop looks cool under the bumper.
