The Banks Power 42215 Ram-Air Intake System will help the engine in your 2011-2016 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke breathe more freely. This cold air intake has been extensively tested and validated and features an enclosed airbox that outflows the stock unit. This aids in maintaining horsepower when under load while helping to improve fuel economy and lower EGTs.
The Banks Power 42215 Ram-Air Intake’s giant filter flows more freely than a stock highly dense paper filter, and the aerodynamic internal shape minimizes restrictions to improve airflow. The filter is cleanable, reusable, and easy to access for monitoring and cleaning, unlike the factory air filter which is difficult to access, not cleanable and is disposed of when dirty. This intake system is triple-validated before the name Banks is stamped on. Working seamlessly with stock sensors, this intake system will not generate trouble codes and will accommodate engine movement for greater durability.
Banks Ram-Air Superiority
The Ram-Air intake’s unique design features a fully enclosed and sealed housing to keep out hot power-robbing engine air. This allows the engine to run cooler and cleaner while improving power while reducing EGTs! Its giant filter flows more freely and the aerodynamic internal shape eliminates restrictions to enhance airflow by 26%!

Installation Tech Tip:
The Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor is mounted in the intake tube on the air intake system. You will need to remove this sensor during the installation of a cold air intake. While replacement of a good working MAF Sensor is not required, it is generally a good practice to inspect, clean, or replace the MAF Sensor during this installation.
