The Banks Dry Filter is washable and reusable and does not require the use of any oil. Installation was an easy. My only complaint on installation was the paper instructions were sub par but they did give a link to a instructional video that had a lot more detail about the install. I had this installed on my 2019 Chevy Silverado 2500 Duramax. I took out the resonator, which you can leave on, and I did notice a slight more growl. It’s not much but it does sound a little meaner. I took it for a test drive and I could immediately tell the difference in air intake and take off when I punched the accelerator. I was only able to drive my truck the one time before ice-maggedon hit down south so I haven’t notice the up tick in better fuel mileage. Overall easy install, decent pricing and better air flow leading to better response time.
