Featuring a molded and streamlined filter housing, Banks overcomes the minimal room available around the air filter by using a larger inlet and ballistic-shaped nose, encouraging the reusable air filter element to breathe more freely. That's a 352-CFM gain over the factory intake which means you can enjoy the benefits of more power and increased economy. More airflow raises the air-fuel ratio and allows the engine to run more lean, reducing soot, and decreasing the frequency between DPF Regeneration. Banks uses an oversized oiled air filter element that not only extends service life and requires fewer cleanings, it completely outflows the competition. Take full advantage of the Banks 42249 Ram-Air Intake System by combining it with the Banks Derringer Tuner for an additional 19HP!
