Description
The Banks Power 42721 High-Ram Intake Manifold is designed to increase flow in your 1998.5-2002 Dodge 5.9L Diesel. An intercooler increases the air density, which allows your engine to produce more power. So it stands to reason that you wouldn't want to restrict the flow of air exiting the intercooler, right? Unfortunately, that's exactly what the stock piece does. The factory inlet is cramped and angular compared to Banks' larger, streamlined cast-metal High-Ram. Banks' High-Ram intake flows air much more efficiently, providing greater boost without the drawback of raising turbine backpressure. You'll enjoy improved acceleration and better engine efficiency.

this product works, its about twice the size of my stock intake tube if not more than that, really noticed increase in acceleration in the 2000+ rpm range, works well with quadzilla boost fooler and 5" exhaust!!!

Cooled off my egts by about a hundred which is what I was hoping for but in the process loses some power in my 2000+ rpms but was worth it to cool my truck down

this product works great, my dad has it on his 2006 dodge ram 3500 and it works great. his truck makes lots of power and this product goes great with the smarty programmer and banks cold air intake i give this product a 5 star review
