Banks Power 49799-B 5" Single Monster Exhaust System with Black Tip

The Banks Power 49799-B 5" DPF-Back Monster Exhaust System with Black Tip from XDP is a great option for upgrading the exhaust system on your Ram 6.7L Diesel (MCSB). The 5" aluminized steel DPF-back exhaust system is designed to improve throttle response and fuel economy. It lowers back pressure by up to 9% at the turbine inlet, allowing the engine to breathe more efficiently. The system includes a large black Cerakote obround SideKick tip. This new 5" Monster Exhaust is specifically designed for the Ram 2500/3500 6.7L. It features constant-diameter 5" mandrel-bent aluminized steel tubing and a patented tip that eliminates backpressure after the DPF.

The tips have a premium rolled lip, a drain hole for condensation, and a high-temperature Cerakote black finish that won't turn brown with heat. The patented obround Side-Kick tip is designed to direct hot exhaust gases to the side and away from the vehicle. There is a 1" Air Gap around the tip to prevent damage or melting of the bumper or trailer.

In contrast to the factory Ram exhaust, the Banks 5in Monster-Exhaust system is mandrel bent with a smooth constant inner diameter. This eliminates resistance and maintains exhaust gas scavenging throughout the system. The Banks patented negative back-pressure tip virtually eliminates backpressure after the DPF. The side-draft rocket nozzle-like tip effectively sucks out exhaust gases. Pressure sensors have shown a significant 9% reduction in exhaust pressure all the way back to the turbine inlet.
