The Banks Power 55229 Exhaust Brake will take the stress out of towing by greatly improve the braking in your automatic 2004.5 Dodge 5.9L Diesel. Electronics in this direct-mount exhaust brake keep an eye on key engine and transmission parameters to optimize braking effectiveness. Without applying the brakes, this exhaust brake significantly reduces downhill speeds so that they remain cool and prepared for emergencies. When not in use, the exhaust flow is excellent, and the installation process involves no drilling, cutting, or alteration of the existing wiring.
