Description
Superior to stock, everything about Banks Techni-Cooler Intercooler system is bigger. It includes mandrel-bent 3.5" high-flow boost tubes ... large, high-efficiency all-aluminum end tanks ... wide-open inlet and outlet with 31% bigger cross-sections ... and a 12% thicker core area with a major increase in volume. Techni-Cooler dramatically increases the cooling capacity by balancing the richer fuel mixture with greater airflow and cooler, denser air. Denser air has more oxygen, which improves combustion as well as engine efficiency. Result: higher continuous power and more power at any exhaust gas temp (EGT), better fuel economy and lower EGTs. Fit like a glove! This intercooler is huge and I noticed a difference in how fast the truck builds boost because of the better air flow. If you don't have an oem AC condenser you will have to modify the brackets. I did bend the AC lines a little bit so there was less stress on them. Overall awesome kit! 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 6.7 Cummins

I was forced to modify the A/C brackets to make this fit. If you have an ‘08 Ram, don’t shut the hood until you confirm the clearance ! I thought I had punch a hole in the top of this massive intercooler, I adjusted it and all was good .

after instalation the ac hoses now rest against the grill, instructions were easy to follow.

If you have a 2009 you will have to make your own AC condenser brackets!!!! This should not be marketed as a fit 07.5+ 09 and newer have different brackets and tried calling banks direct and Banks has terrible customer service. Would not even talk to me told me I had to go through vendor when I wanted to do was let them know they need to change the brackets for a 09+Other than that its a great kit.
