Description
Eliminate the interference in the throttle position sensor in your 1994-2004 Dodge 5.9L Diesel with the BD-Power 1300030 Dodge APPS Noise Isolator. The interference that is common on these trucks creates false voltage readings in the Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor (APPS) circuit. These false readings cause the torque converter lock-up to cycle rapidly on and off as you're driving. This easy fix allows you to remove the interference and restore proper lock-up operation.

Caused APPS problems

Early 2004 305 hp engine, it caused problems with the APPS when installed under 2003 instructions. I removed it and the APPS problems instantly disappeared.
I contacted BD, they determined that my vehicle has the 2004 computer arrangement and told me to follow the 2004 instructions.
I installed it following the 2004 instructions and it caused APPS related malfunctions again, plus an illuminated check engine light. I removed it and the check engine light and APPS issues magically vanished again.
Avoid this product like a psycho ex that is throwing Molotov cocktails if your vehicle is an early 2004 model year...
