Description

Eliminate the interference in the throttle position sensor in your 1994-2004 Dodge 5.9L Diesel with the BD-Power 1300030 Dodge APPS Noise Isolator. The interference that is common on these trucks creates false voltage readings in the Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor (APPS) circuit. These false readings cause the torque converter lock-up to cycle rapidly on and off as you're driving. This easy fix allows you to remove the interference and restore proper lock-up operation.

  • Easy Installation

Amazing product! I tried everything shy of another tranny rebuild to fix the notorious torque converter lock/unlock issue. Over 9 months it plagued me, finally it was down to this less than $30 part which takes less than 10minutes to install, or having my tranny rebuilt again (with less than 10000 miles on a fresh rebuild) for over 4 grand. Of coarse I choose the first option, and so far so good. Keeping my fingers crossed. Shame on you Dodge for not making this fix more common knowledge, or better yet building a better automatic transmission that actually handles being bolted up to the Cummins. I went to three different tranny shops and none of them had a clue. Thankfully there's a community of people out there working together to solve these issues and make this information common knowledge.
Should be factory!

Had the classic second gen converter lock unlock issue at random times and speeds. After cleaning all my grounds and checking my harness to no avail I bought this for $30. Well let me say the truck should have this stock. Lockup is firm and consistent! All the time! Installing is a breeze. There is a you tube video to show how easy it is. If you have a 2nd gen ram you NEED this.

I was experiencing a "surge" between 40 -50. This part was very quick & easy to install and very easy to follow the video instructions. A friend spent $300 at a mechanic to have the same part placed.........we spent $35 and in ten minutes had it done ourselves!
