The BD-Power 1050201 VP44 Stealth Pump Cover Kit makes the installation of performance modules on your 1998.5-2002 Dodge 5.9L With Cummins Engine straightforward. Instead of notching the pump wire for performance modules, this cover goes over the VP44 injection pump, offering a secure, sealed connection. Not only is a notched wire obvious, but a break in the wire cover can lead to corrosion and a bad connection. The BD Stealth Cover allows for a cleaner installation and easier removal of performance modules, as well as a more secure connection.

It's a simple product. Why splice exposed wiring when this cover is a direct replacement for the vp44 cover and lets you tap into the wiring with a weather-tight seal when installing a tuner. (order # 1850999)

I love that the kit comes with everything you need-torx bit, Allen wrench, connectors. I like this product because I did not want to make a mistake with the tap. My only complaint is for the money, I was expecting the cover to be metal, not plastic.
