The CSF 6002 OEM+ Replacement Intercooler is manufactured from the highest quality components to provide you with the best aftermarket OE replacement intercooler available for your 2006-2010 GM 6.6L Duramax LBZ/LMM. Each CSF OEM+ Intercooler is built with cast aluminum end tanks for a higher level of durability, reliability and burst pressure capabilities. Featuring a 100% TIG welded construction with an OEM style tube/fin core that matches or exceeds the performance of the OEM Intercooler. Designed to be a true "Drop-in Fit" that requires no modifications to install, this intercooler will work with all OEM components including OEM hoses, brackets, and mounting points.
Tube-and-fin cores are typically found on stock intercoolers. These coolers are lighter in weight and less expensive to make which is why they are mostly used in factory applications. This is the perfect option for those replacing an intercooler that failed or is being replaced due to front end damage. This intercooler is best for stock output applications and is often chosen as crash part or replacement part.

Got this as my turbo exploded and fits perfect like factory and love that the tanks are aluminum and not plastic, I did notice that it comes really close with my aftermarket transmissions line, but built to last and have pushed over 30lbs of boost through it and still hold up with no leaks. order number 1315247

As for the product, it seems very well built and solid. There is no plastic outlet like on stock intercooler. Very tight fit and no play once installed. I definitely would buy this again and recommend it and cant beat the price.
Just a heads up, with how nice it fits and if you have AFTER MARKET TRANS COOLER LINES. Be a little patient getting the connector on. That goes from the cool side to the EGR.
