Description
Upgrade the stock torque converter on your 1994-2007 Dodge 5.9L diesel with the Diesel Performance Converters DPC DRM1 Single Disc Torque Converter. Built to handle up to 950 lb-ft of torque, this converter is perfect for the truck owner that needs an upgrade, but doesn't plan to make a bunch of power down the road. This single disc clutch uses DPC's proven friction materials. The stator has also been modified to provide an improved fluid coupling that improves driveability and towing characteristics.

Recently my torque converter developed a shudder on lockup, so the search was on, my truck is mildly built and I do some towing, so I was looking for something better than stock, I stumbled upon these dpc converters FOR LESS MONEY THAN STOCK, and ordered one right away and I'm glad i did. Truck takes way less throttle to get up and go from a stop with the low stall, and has a nice firm lockup at highway speeds. Couldn't be happier. Excellent product at an amazing price!

Recently the transmission in my truck decided to give up. My 04.5 dynoed at 410/753, not huge numbers, but it gets the job done. Decided that's the power level I want to stay at, so decided to give this converter a shot. I'm very glad I did. I rebuilt the trans myself, GPZ clutch packs, Transgo 48RE-Pro shift kit, all the upgraded servos, sensors and solenoids. Everything works great. Let everything break in for 500mi, then added the power. Stall and lockup feels great. Thanks XDP and Diesel Performance Converters for a great product at a very reasonable price. Order# 1238808
