Each Wicked Wheel 2 from Diesel Site has been tested in multiple wheel configurations of blade numbers, dimensional changes and pitch adjustments before coming up with the absolute best results for each application. The unique design of the Wicked Wheel 2 will provide you with increased performance, boost, reduced EGT's and faster spool-up over the original cast wheel. Fits GTP38 and TP38 turbo applications.

Installation Tip: This turbo has a standard right hand thread - meaning you turn the compressor wheel to the left to loosen. No need to torque the Wicked Wheel on. Simply snug the Wicked Wheel until it fully seats. It will self-tighten to full torque. The Wicked Wheel is balanced at the factory. Turbo balancing after installation is not necessary.

It did succeed in eliminating my turbo surge. I live in Montana and tow through the mountains frequently. However, the other proclaimed performance gains are marginal at best. It doesn’t seem to spool any faster or generate more overall boost. Again, fixed the surge, but likely not worth the $229.
