The DNR Customs DNRCAMTRAYKIT Cam Removal Tray with Complete Removal/Install Kit is a specialty service tool designed to simplify lifter/tappet removal and installation on Ram 6.7L diesel engines. The included magnetic dowels and clamps hold the lifters or tappets securely in place during removal or installation, preventing them from falling into the oil pan. The magnets assist with installing the new lifters/tappets, helping position and pull them up into the lifter bores.
The tray slides into the lifter valley in place of the removed camshaft. During removal, the tray catches the removed lifters or tappets, which prevents them from falling into the oil pan. When installing new lifters, the tray supports them while they are guided under the lifter bores, allowing the install magnet to lift and position them precisely into place. The tray helps save time and reduce extra labor during the job.

Backward Compatibility Note:
This kit is specifically designed and optimized for 2019–2024 Ram 6.7L trucks when used with the Hamilton Flat Tappet Conversion Kit. It is also compatible with earlier model years, as the cam tray works with all 5.9L and 6.7L engines. However, older trucks do not require the additional set of magnets included in this kit, so those magnets will simply remain unused on earlier platforms. This is a durable, shop‑grade tool designed for repeated use, which is why many installers keep one on hand for camshaft replacement across any generation of 5.9L or 6.7L engines.
