Description
The Edge Products 98620 EAS Expandable EGT Probe With Lead allows you to monitor exhaust gas temperatures with your Edge Product CS, CTS, CS2, CTS2 and CTS3. The Expandable designed allows you to add optional expandable accessories from Edge Products such as pressure and temp sensors. This re-designed version of the original EAS Starter Kit EGT Probe, is built with a 15" lead so that the EGT Probe can be easily replaced, or removed without needing to replace the cable or other electronics.

This was shipped fast. I already had an EGT probe in the truck and just replaced the old one (Banks) with this one as I was going from a Banks Six-Gun to an Edge CTS3. I like having compatible products... One thing that I liked about the banks over this, was that the outer metal shielding that goes down on the probe, went the length of the cable on the banks unit. The instructions were easy to follow, again, because this was a replacement for an existing EGT probe, I was not drilling into the manifold, so it was just threading it into the manifold.
These probes are invaluable for anyone that has a diesel and I highly recommend them. Setup with the CTS 3 was easy as it auto-detected the probe and all I needed to do was select where I wanted it displayed.
