Switch on the Fly for Tuning for your 7.3L Powerstroke
Each Revolver chip comes with a 6-position switch that will let you change your power level while driving. This might not seem like a big deal at first, but imagine you are getting ready to go on a camping trip and have your camping trailer hooked up. You probably want to use your tow setting for that so you flip the switch down to your tow setting. When you get to the camp ground and drop your trailer off, you want to head down to the nearest market for some camping supplies, and you want to do it FAST to show your buddy- just switch to your performance level! The bottom line is that all of your performance levels are available to you at the flick of a switch, no re-programming required and the change is instant!

Revolver Chip Tune Levels:

Box Codes: Edge Products has made it so you can easily purchase a chip for your truck using your model year and transmission. If you'd like to check your Box Code, you can find it using the following information. On your ECU, there will be a large 4 Digit Code that is 3 letters and 1 number. These ECU Codes identify what ECU is in your truck, and they come in groups. Some examples might be NVK2 and NVK4, which share the same tunes which would have the same Box Code, but have different ECM codes.
1999-2003: Your ECU will be located behind the Drivers Side Kick Panel and on the
1995-1998: Your ECU will be located behind the Passengers Side Kick Panel.

Worked great for a week. Daily driving and towing a trailer, it did great. After a week, issues started to arise, which I initially thought were something else. The water in fuel light would come on, and the truck wouldn't start. Eventually, it started, and no issues for a day or two. Then it was dead in my driveway with the same symptoms. After going through my entire engine harness looking for a short or issue with the WIF sensor circuit, I unplugged the chip. Truck fired right up. Plugged it back in and right back to the WIF light and no start. Would not buy this again.

Sure woke up my 1996 7.3! The only advice I would give would be to REMOVE the PCM from vehicle to clean the contacts properly. Complete removal is rather easy by taking out a few screws of left inner fender liner and pushing it down and out of the way. PCM will then slide out through firewall...Very happy with product!

Order #1932849 Just recently installed this on my 2002 7.3L. Took about 45 minutes; directions were very clear and laid out. This thing is instant results really changes power levels and amazed me. I daily drive my truck and keep it in 50/75HP and it is more than enough. Have already towed dump trailers with it and man was I impressed. If you want to give you're truck a little go go juice I highly recommend this product.

Will this controler work with the 6 speed trans?
Yes, the EDGE PRODUCTS REVOLVER 6-POSITION PERFORMANCE CHIP will work on both Auto and Manual transmissions.
Will I need to upgrade any thing else on my motor or truck to use this product?
Additional upgrades are not required to run the Revolver 7.3L Powerstroke Chip. However, as with any performance upgrade additional modifications such as an intake and exhaust system will greatly help improve performance and allow you to maximize the benefits of something like the Revolver.
Is there a recommended tow setting?
Level 3 is commonly used for towing but we recommend monitoring EGT's whenever towing to ensure engine safety and optimization.
Can you give me a breakdown on torque ratings per setting.
The Edge Revolver has the following torque gains. These numbers may vary depending on application and vehicle condition.
