FASS CFHD1002K Factory Fuel Filter Housing Delete

Okay, I am an aircraft mechanic by trade, so I like informative instructions, and if you know, Marines' colored pictures are wonderfully appreciated. Following along with a FASS drop-in fuel filter for a Cummins, this was not difficult at all. It made sense to install this, given the aftermarket fuel filters I installed-why create another item that could leak, and with the drop in the FASS system, you must run the WIF sensor to the back, where the FASS system is installed. It would have been nice if FASS could send a plug to install at the bottom where the WIF sensor is installed (given you do not use that sensor) during the drop-in installation. To find that plug with the thread count and sizing at brick-and-mortar store is nearly impossible. Well, shall I say that tests my patience Given the FASS drop in series comes with a WIF to screw onto their filter, I ended up taking the factory WIF out of the fuel filter housing and installed it into the bottom of the fuel filter delete block. Lastly, there is a line that you do not hook back up. Nowhere in the instructions does it tell you that. Again, I was left scratching my head, wondering where this line was installed and reading the directions several times to see what I was missing. Finally, after getting frustrated and throwing several wrenches across the shop (not really) I followed by gut and tucked this away and assumed it did not hook back up. If you look at some pictures, it shows it just hanging out after installation. Nowhere does it mention that it will not be installed. This is my first diesel truck, so I would have appreciated some sort of clue that it does not get installed back, but hell, they already got my money.
