Description
The FASS DRP 04 Direct Replacement Fuel Pump is a complete replacement pump for your 2003-2004 Dodge 5.9L Diesel. It's specially designed to eliminate the common issues found in factory lift pumps that are known for their costly repairs. The DRP lift pumps larger motor is strong enough to help supply your engine with the consistent fuel pressure required by your CP3 Injection Pump to produce efficiency and horsepower. The DRP series pump can be installed by any novice mechanic with the supplied components, making it the easiest installation of any aftermarket diesel lift pump.
DRP Relocation Kit (Sold Separately)
To help the DRP series lift pump perform to its top potential FASS has also designed an optional pump relocation upgrade kit that will move the lift pump closer to the fuel tank, reducing the distance the lift pump needs to pull fuel from and instead places fuel under pressure to push diesel to the engine. This is beneficial because all diesel lift pumps perform better as Pusher pump and when under pressure the motor doesn't need to work as hard to supply the fuel demanded by the injection system. Bought this supply pump for our 2377 case Ih combine to supply the caps pump on an ISC 8.3 Cummins it’s much quieter than the OEM pump with higher pressure and a higher gph rating! Works great had enough parts in the kit to plumb to the existing lines just had to raise up the OEM mounting bracket about an inch.

I had this pump on my 2003 after I had two stock pumps on the back of the filter housing fail. After the install my truck ran so much smoother and I even had a programmer cold air intake and exhaust. I drove the truck with this pump for about 50k miles with no issues before I traded in the truck on a 4x4. I would recommend this pump and the install was about 3hrs by myself.
