Description
XDP offers the FASS SK5501 Fuel Tank Sump Kit that will eliminate 1/4 and 1/8 tank issues in your aftermarket lift pump equipped Diesel truck. This sump kit provides fuel from the bottom of the tank and features a single-bolt design that makes installation a cinch. The large fuel bowl can help maximize fuel range and increase reliability when the fuel is sloshing around the tank by providing a reservoir of fuel. By utilizing dedicated suction and return line ports, hooking up the fuel lines to the sump is straightforward.

To drain the fuel in my tank, I drilled a small hole and let it go into a bucket. After I was pretty low on fuel, I used a holesaw to create the perfect circle and installed it. Pretty simple thing, took me about 45 minutes as I was pretty diligent in making sure I removed any type of shavings, trimmed any sharp edges and refilled the diesel fuel into a new container that had some chips in it. I highly recommend it. Don’t forget to use some Loctite on the screw and make sure the surfaces are wiped, clean prior to Bolting everything together.
