The FASS XWS-3002 Extreme Water Separator replaces the water separator on your FASS Titanium Series or Titanium Signature Series Fuel Systems. Rated at 2 microns absolute, this redesigned water separator no longer has a drain due to the fact that the filter element itself now traps any water in your fuel.

- Suggested Change Interval - 30,000 Miles
- For Titanium Series & Titanium Signature Series
- Replaces FS-1001
Note:
This filter must be used with the FASS PF-3001 Fuel Particulate Filter due to the fact that the XWS-3002 is now on the pressure side and the PF-3001 is on the suction side.
Please see the location diagram on the filters for proper filter placement.

I have been using these filters for years. I do change these filters on a regular basis. I have found that if you are experiencing a two psi or more drop while towing, it’s time for a filter change. At least that’s how it works out on a 5.9 with a VP44 that is nearly stock.

A water separator with no drain valve

There is no water drain valve on this, only some sort of absorbing media inside, no way to know if the filter is saturated and again in need of service. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
