Fleece PowerFlo In-Tank Fuel Lift Pump FPE-34755

My 03 had been struggling for a while, and at 246k I had just gotten used to the truck feeling a little bit tired. When I noticed my fuel mileage was dropping off I knew it was time to look into my fueling. I still had my factory lift pump system (an after thought for that year) and after talking to a friend/tech I realized how starved my injection pump must be. I pulled the trigger on this system after a bit of research. Install was very straightforward, and yes the instructions leave some gaps, but it’s enough of a heads up. The parts and materials are top notch. The pump unit is stout and well made. The fuel hose and fittings are really easy to work with. The filter housing is very well placed in the engine bay, where it should be and not on the frame rail, allowing you to utilize the factory wiring for the WIF sensor and the fuel heater. Overall, a very easy install with no modifications to the truck. After a good priming (bump the starter after your first KOEO to keep the pump working) the truck fired easily and the differences were immediately evident. Idle was smooth and balanced. The exhaust pulse at the tail was more even. Less injector, engine, and clutch rattle. Then after driving, easier shift engagement, faster spooling and rpm climb. Far more stable pedal feel, most noticeable for me at cruising positions. It’s too soon to report on the MPG question but I am hopeful considering the other improvements. If you have a Dodge, put THIS system in.

I absolutely love it, compared to my Raptor and FASS IV previously used in other trucks this is suck. This is a cleaner and more Effective setup.

Such a great system my only reason for not 5 stars when doing the installation with the kit you have to look at multiple instructions online but after that was great easy install everything was in this kit to make it work from start to finish order number #2002366

After my lift pump died, I ran an Air Dog on my 2003 Ram for about 9 years. I got tired of the quarter tank issues and noise so decided to replace it with this Fleece pump. If you are on the fence between an Air Dog/FASS type pump and this one, I highly suggest you go this route. This thing is amazing! Its quiet, no quarter tank issues anymore, and no more filters hanging out right under the door and in the elements (the provided filter fits roughly where the stock one is). The truck runs better now and seems to have some more power too. The instructions need to be revised to make more sense, but that's a small issue. The kit comes with everything you need to install the new system, including the banjo washers, just have some thread sealer on hand. All of the parts are high quality and packaged very well for shipping. Pro Tip: Remove the stock fuel supply line as its no longer needed and install the Fleece wiring harness in its place, it fits like it was meant to be.
