Description
The Fleece FPE-L5P-FFBA-20 Fuel Filter Upgrade Kit upgrades the stock cartridge style filter to a spin-on canister style filter in your 2020-2024 GM 6.6L Duramax L5P (Short Bed). Canister style filters have longer service life due to an increased filter capacity and give you more filter options to choose from. The included anodized billet aluminum fuel filter base retains the factory sandwich style heating element for cold weather. This filter base mounts in the identical location as the factory cartridge filter base and comes with quick disconnect fittings for OE quality fit and finish.

What can I say. I work on heavy equipment for a living and we use only Donaldson filters for our equipment. It’s a no brainer to switch from that garbage drop in paper filter to the Donaldson. That being said. Install took me about 30 min. Hardest part was getting the electrical connector off the fuel heater.
