Description
The Fleece SureFlo Performance Sending Unit FPE-SF-FMC-9907-SB is a drop-in replacement for the dilapidated sending unit on your Ford 7.3L or 6.0L Powerstroke truck. This sending unit can kill 2 birds with 1 stone as it allows you to run custom fuel lines directly to the tank as well as replace the broken level sinding unit.. This SureFlo performance sending unit is designed to work with aftermarket lift pumps and features factory-style quick connect fittings to adapt your stock fuel lines at the tank. This sending unit is engineered to provide a straightforward install that requires no cutting or drilling of the fuel tank. Unlike the factory fuel senders that only use a pickup tube, the SureFlo works by drawing fuel from and returning fuel to the bucket assembly at the base of the unit. This ensures you are always drawing fuel into your pump and not drawing air into the fuel system, eliminating the dreaded 1/4 tank problems. The SureFlo bucket also incorporates one way check valves that allow fuel to easily flow in at low levels.

2006 F250 shorted sending/fuel pickup upgrade

The Fleece Sureflo performance sending unit is a very well-built unit! I like how the return fuel is delivered to the same confined space as the pickup. Fit was perfect for my short bed truck. Also allows for upgrade with provided fittings! My original sender no longer had a screen or bottom pickup; the plastic was broken and brittle. Earlier in the year, I ran out of fuel even though my dash said I had 50 miles to empty. I went online and seen other owners have had the same problem and not much luck with just replacing the pickup unit made out of plastic! So I decided to upgrade! I went ahead and dropped the fuel tank so I could clean it out. I was installing this solo until I tried to install this in the tank. This unit is spring-loaded, so your lining this unit up with the notches as directed and applying downward pressure will install the 6” diameter plastic nut. It was a pain. I had to get my son to swing by, and then it was a breeze with me holding the sending unit in place while he started the nut. Highly recommended for the quality of this project, and should be set for several years now. Big thanks to Fleece and XDP!

The Fleece Sureflo sending unit is a perfect fit on my 03 short-bed 6.0 Powerstroke. Bed bolts out with the taillights unplugged, simple, easy work returned my fuel gauge on my dash.
