Description
The MBRP GMCA424 3" Turbo Downpipe eliminates the restrictive factory downpipe in your 2004.5-2010 GM 6.6L Duramax. Featuring a mandrel bent aluminized steel construction, the MBRP 3" Turbo Downpipe provides a smoother flow from the turbo resulting in lower EGT's, increased performance, throatier sound, and faster turbo spool-up.
Each Downpipe is coated with a satin black high-heat coating and wrapped with a high-heat thermal wrap for added protection. Featuring CNC machined flanges, this downpipe is a direct bolt-on replacement, and is manufactured with precision bends for the perfect fit that you've come to expect from MBRP.

Pipe fit exactly as intended, it’s a tough job with the engine in so buckle up. Great response and lower EGTs. Would highly recommend. Product is sharp and looks great…..even though you’ll never see it.

Easy instal, put 5in straight pipe with down pipe you can tell the difference from the stock system, definitely recommend

What is the difference between this downpipe and the MBRP downpipe that isn't legal in California?

Answer
Both downpipes are the same in terms of size, flow, fitment. The only difference is the MBRP GMCA424 3" TURBO DOWNPIPE (50 STATE LEGAL) will have a welded on tag stating the CARB EO# which allows for its sale in CA.
