Designed as a direct replacement for your 2003-2007 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke, the Mishimoto MMTS-F2D-03CH High-Temperature Thermostat & Cast Housing improves the reliability of your engine's cooling system. This High-Temperature Thermostat and Cast Aluminum Housing addresses two issues at once. Replace the factory thermostat for a higher temperature unit, and replacing the old rusty thermostat housing with the MMTS-F2D-03CH. The cast aluminum housing offers an affordable option to the billet versions on the market, while still providing the same proper seal and long-lasting corrosion resistance.
Mishimoto's High-Temperature Thermostat raises the activation temperature to 200 degrees fahrenheit, over the factory thermostat at 192 degrees fahrenheit. This allows the thermostat to restrict coolant flow, giving you faster warm-ups, making this the perfect option for those Powerstroke owners in cold climates. Like all Mishimoto products, this product is backed by their lifetime warranty.
