Description
The Mishimoto MMTS-F2D-03FH High-Temperature Thermostat and CNC Housing improves the reliability of the cooling system in your 2003-2007 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke. A defective thermostat can result in engine overheating and potential internal damage. This thermostat is designed as a direct-fit replacement for your aged factory unit. To make this a complete installation, Mishimoto includes their CNC machined 6061 aluminum thermostat housing. This upgraded housing design provides proper seal and will not rust over time like the factory housing.
The Mishimoto thermostat has a higher activation temperature (200 Degrees Fahrenheit) compared to the factory thermostat (192 Degrees Fahrenheit). The higher activation temperature restricts coolant flow longer to allow a quicker engine warm-up, making this thermostat ideal for use in cold climates. As with all Mishimoto products, this thermostat and housing includes the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty, ensuring superior product quality and craftsmanship.
