Description

That is why you need a PPE Heavy Duty Deep Aluminum Transmission Pan for your Allison transmission. But wait, there is more! Large 7/8 inch cooling fins outside and internal heat sink fins reduce transmission operating temperatures up to 40 degrees.
Cast from aluminum alloy right here in the USA. The PPE Heavy Duty Deep Aluminum Transmission Pan features an internal filter lock for the supplied Allison deep filter, drilled and threaded 1/4 inch and 1/8 inch NPT ports for optional temperature probes, a 1 inch port provides for easy fluid drainage and a high powered Neodymium magnet-equipped drain plug. Allen head mounting bolts and a new filter also come with the kit.

I just installed this pan a few days ago. It is a very well made product. I love the fact that I have 4 extra qts of volume. This keeps the transmission cooler. The only thing I can say is, I should have done this along time ago.

The factory gasket it reusable. Service capacity is 12 quarts and this pan is a monster and holds the most that I've seen on aftermarket pans. My trans hardly gets above 130 degrees compared to some that I've seen sitting around 160.

The pan itself is built really well, and I did notice a difference in temperature while daily driving and hauling. On the other hand the hardware it come with is no good. The Alan heads stripped before I got to spec, so I went a bought my own stainless steel hardware.
