PPE Heavy-Duty Cast Aluminum ZF 8 Speed Transmission Pan - Deep

Bought product, fit amazing on the truck, and looks good. Except for the part of the directions saying nothing about how to get the old one off and put this on. Requires the removal of the exhaust or removal of the transfer case nuts to lift it up to get the new pan on. More clear directions would be great. Otherwise great product highly recommended.

Perfect fit for 8HP70. Found this while performing a trans filter/fluid change on my 2014 Ram 1500 4wd with the 5.7 Hemi. This pan has an integrated filter that is replaceable, which is far more convenient than the stock pan with the non-serviceable filter. And it’s relatively the same price as the Mopar part. The pan itself is solid aluminum, with a very nice finish on all the surfaces. It fit absolutely perfectly. You’ll need to order a pan gasket separately and reuse the stock pan bolt sleeves and hardware (or buy those new). I really appreciate the thought put into the design process of this pan as they moved the drain plug to a deeper part of the pan that’s actually accessible unlike what is on the stock pan. To top it off, there’s two more quarts of fluid capacity, so make sure to take that into account when changing your fluid.

Heavy duty transmission pan with enough room for 2 extra quarts of fluid, I just loosened the 3 transmission mount nuts and used a 2x6 (6 inch part up) on a jack to raise it by the steel transmission mount that is bolted to the transmission. It only needs to be raised about 1 inch. You can reuse the stock gasket and flange collars, torque in pattern shown in instructions Final torque spec; 8-10 foot pounds or 96-120 inch pounds (click type torque wrench makes this easier). Nice looking Pan.

The he pan looks amazing. Fit and finish was perfect. Not getting a new gasket with the pan and using the old one seemed wrong. But I will say it worked perfectly. I was going to by a new one but nobody had one in stock. I lowered the exhaust to make it easier and it went together perfectly. Thank you for a great product 👍🏼 Order number 2102633

I just replaced my 2019 Ram 1500's transmission fluid & filter after ~61,000 miles, and this pan fitment is perfect and slid into place perfectly! This pan with one filter cost about the same as a replacement (disposable) OEM, and each filter replacement in the future is only going to cost $30. The drain plug on this pan, by the way, ISN'T COVERED BY THE EXHAUST PIPE! Couldn't Stellantis have gotten a different pan for this model?? This pan is also a lot sturdier, but I hope to never test just how sturdy it is.
