Description
The PSC SG039 XD Steering Box is an upgrade for the problematic factory unit in your 2001-2010 GM Silverado/Sierra 2500HD/3500HD 4WD Classic Body Style Pickup. The PSC XD Steering Gear features a 45mm sector shaft and bearing to prevent the pitman arm and sector shaft flex that causes the lower seal to fail. Larger teeth and other internal components have been increased in size to handle the loads when increasing tire size on your truck. Fits 4 spline pitman arms only.

This steering box is offered only with a 4 spline sector shaft, if you have a 3 spline sector shaft you will need a new pitman arm.

I put it on a 2000 Silverado 2500 2WD and they don’t even list that fitment in their catalog. Had put a BlueTop in about 2 yrs ago. Total waste of money. Slack from the start and it just got worse. The PSC box is tight as a drum.

Don"t make my mistake... 2005 LLY Lifted truck 6". New aftermarket gear box and New OEM and Performance was still less than steller! All over the road with 35" tires. Finaly Got THE PSC upgraded gear box without aux assist, and I'm blow away with performance. Can't say enough Good! Not 1 drop of oil seep or leak after 5 years and still going stong. Not one ounce of steering play... its almost Baffling. Get the upgraded Pitman arm as well. Enjoy because there is not to many reviews you can write like this.

Absolutely head and shoulders above all others. Worth every penny and I’m not rich. 2002 2500hd duramax 7" lift with 35" tires. Drives like a 2023 as long as the rest of your front end parts aren’t junk! I've seen some people complaining that the gear box didn’t fix all there problems, might be why. Don’t be that guy.
