The Racor PFF50216 ParFit Fuel Filter is a direct replacement for your 2001-2016 GM 6.6L Duramax. ParFit fuel filters protect expensive fuel system components from microscopic solid contaminates and damaging water. ParFit filters are engineered and manufactured to meet stringent quality requirements and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications for correct fit, long service life, and performance. The coalescing filter system inside has up to twice the life and improved water removal in all blends and types of diesel fuel when compared to other paper media filters.
Racor is the OEM supplier of this filter to General Motors. This filter doesn't just meet OEM standards, it is the OEM standard.

Absolutely the correct fit. Center tang is different on the blue 3018. Get the White pf52016 and no worries.

I have always ran the white AC Delco PH3018 until recently when I received their latest supposedly improved filter. They obviously changed manufacturers because their O-ring is now triangle shaped instead of round and will not seal. I spent 5 hours and several cranking sessions trying to get one to seal before giving up and sending it back. The AC Delco PH3018 filter is now junk. The Racor filter PFF50216 easily went on and then I primed the system one time and our 2004.5 LLY literally cranked over for a second and fired right up. This Racor filter is awesome and this will be the filter on my truck from here on out. If my first experience with the Racor PFF50216 filter is any indication I LOVE and will keep on loving these filters. Thank You.
