Gain control of your vehicle with proper steering when you add the RedHead Steering Gears 2768U HD Steering Box (6-Bolt Cover) to your 2005-2008 Ford F-250/350 (Built Before 7/30/07). RedHead is a family owned and operated company with more than 40 years of experience providing quality remanufactured steering boxes. Every RedHead Steering Box is remanufactured from quality materials to be better and stronger than the factory unit. Made for a direct-fit replacement, this Steering Box does not require any modifications for installation.
The U variants have a larger bore piston internally to allow more flow from the pump through the box to push larger than stock tires with ease.
The sector shaft is larger and stronger internally as well and it has a 6 bolt cast top cover instead of the factory 4 bolt aluminum top cover.
This product includes a new pitman arm nut. Please torque to 350 ft-lbs.
