RedHead Steering Gears 2879U 6-Bolt Steering Box Upgrade Kit

I've had this box installed for a little over a year. It is definately an improvement from the remans ones from the auto parts store, but not sure its worth the price. It is very tight in the gears, which I would imagine will make it last a long time, however it makes it difficult to drive in a straight line. I was hoping after giving it some time to break in it would improve, but this steering gear still won't return to center, so you are constantly having to correct back and forth going down the road. It is more powerful than the small box, so it will turn the tires better on the pavement without having to be moving. Hope this helps someone with their decision making. 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4, 35" tires (and every front end linkage, ball joints, etc. were replaced when this steering gear was installed, so it was as tight as could be)
