Designed with a secondary inlet that increases airflow. A plug is included for those who prefer to pull in air only from the stock fender inlet.

S&B's signature clear polycarbonate lid provides great looks. Featuring a rubber trim that ensures a perfect seal.

Installation Tech Tip:
The Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor is installed in the intake tube of the air intake system. During installation of a cold air intake, the MAF must be removed and transferred over. While replacement of a functioning MAF sensor is not necessary, it is considered a good practice to inspect, clean, or replace the sensor (if needed) whenever it's removed.

It works....Replaced the turbo, and added this per mechanic recommendation along with a new 2" intercooler. It works, runs and I hear the pssssssss on the turbo. My miles per gallon has improved, surely if I drive it like an old man, I will get about 21-22, 23 miles per gallon on a 07 RAM 3500 with a 6.7.
One thing that it has happen, the clear protective shield or cap on top, cracked because it was installed following the contour of the air intake box. That clear cover should have been more flexible, or the box should have had a straighter shape. I am not sure if the warranty covers it, perhaps they can say poor installation (not at all), or defect product - they will say not at all, we have sold hundreds of these perhaps...? This part was installed because I wanted to pro long the life of the engine and performance when needed. I don't care about psssssss, just to keep my engine cooler.

I installed the S&B cold air system on my 08 6.7 cummins. It was super easy to install and the clear lexan box cover really gives it that custom look without a custom prices tag. I did have a small issue with a slightly crushed filter but I called S&B and they sent one out overnight and told me to keep the other for backup.great customer service

There's a reason why this intake is highly recommended. Fit and finish are next to perfect and I noticed slightly quicker spool up times on the stock vgt. This is the intake to get.
