Description
The Titan 7021211 60 Gallon Mid-Ship Replacement Fuel Tank for your Ford F-250/350 6.7L Powerstroke provides you with additional fuel capacity when you're hauling long distance. The increased capacity also gives you the ability to shop for lower fuel prices without having to fill-up every time you pass a fuel station.
Most stock (OEM) tanks are relatively thin and made of materials like Linear Polyethylene. Titan Fuel Tanks are made of corrosion-proof, High-Density Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLHDPE), which is bonded molecularly. Also, the nominal thickness of all TITAN Tanks is ¼ of an inch.
Titan Fuel Tanks utilize common sense design features, which simplify installation. They reuse most of the stock components, including the existing sending unit to save you money. The tank itself is nearly indestructible, but light enough to be hefted by one or two people. While a vehicle hoist and transmission jack are ideal, hand tools will get the job done. Lifetime warranty on tank body.

I ordered this Titan 60-gallon tank for my 2011 F-350 short bed. It arrived very fast with no damage. I was able to install it myself with no vehicle hoist or special tools. Just basic hand tool and a few wrenches will get the task completed. This is the only thing I have ordered from XDP, but I will be a customer of theirs for future needs.

Titan and XDP have a customer for life. The tank is amazing, solid construction and installation was a breeze. From dropping my old tank to pressurizing the new one was about 2 hours, which included draining the 20 gallons from the factory tank. I obviously didn’t time my installation right. I used Forscan to update my DTE and it’s done. Solid hardware and instructions were dead on! Order number 1824430

Titan is a horrible company to deal with and its customer service is nonexistent. I would look to other tanks such as Transfer Flow and S&B instead. Do not make the same mistake as I did. The tank arrived and the sending unit opening had a manufacturing defect. The ring was molded incorrectly into the tank not allowing it to be installed. Also, you only find this out once you disassemble your tank to put the original sending unit from the old tank into the new one. It did not lock into place, but locked into place just fine on my old tank since I needed to refit the old tank on. Trying to get in touch with someone is near impossible and even when you do hear from the company, they give you the run around and patronize you. They have obvious issues with their tank craftsmanship and don’t care to deal with their customers. Avoid this company at all costs. Look to other brands extreme diesel sells.

The fuel tank was here when they said it would be, and fit just like the description showed it should. Did not have to try and track down any missing parts. Tank shows to be great quality, along with the mounting hardware. The size of the tank, made it hard to believe it was going to fit, but it slid right into place. The front support bracket, does not hug the tank like it looks like it should? If their is any insight on the front bracket fit, I would appreciate to hear, and/or see some other installs and how they look. Thank you for the great customer experience!

Frustrating Install But Worth It

XDP was great! The tank itself was packaged well. But, if installing yourself vs professional, be prepared to curse a lot. The fuel line connectors and lack of easy access to the top of the Titan tank when installing was very aggravating. Instructions don’t advise to remove drive shaft, but it was the only way to get the access required to attach the fuel lines. Be prepared to break the plastic fuel line connectors; they’re fragile and become brittle with age. Not a fault of the tank. The tank straps, however, required a great deal of bending and coercion with a jack. The tank did block the stock strap mounting point, but I drilled a new hole to address that, but like I said earlier, be prepared to curse a lot. Took 2 days to install, but love the extended range! Don’t love the huge honking fill up bill, but to be expected when doubling the size over stock tank.
