No, the XD143 was designed specifically for the engine compartment of the F-Series Pickups.
A coolant filtration system should not require a CARB (E.O.) number beings the item has nothing to do with the vehicles emissions. If an item increases a vehicle’s emission above factory specifications, it’s considered illegal for use on public roads in states that have adopted the CARB emissions standard.

The XDP 6.0L Coolant Filtration System could require slight modification on trucks with an aftermarket intercooler. (The filter base is mounted through a stud on the left of the radiator, which in most cases would not change with an aftermarket intercooler system.)
The filters are rated for extreme weather conditions and have no issues with the cold. (Be sure your running the proper coolant for the application and that its rated beyond the lowest temperatures in your area.)
The XD143 will work in conjunction with the BRP remote oil cooler and oil filter system.
