QUIGLEY 6.0L ford van owner | December 21st, 2018
The oem ford plastic y pipe for the cooling system I found out is known to fail on the 6.0 L ford diesel and mine did 600 miles from home. Luckily I'll never have that problem again because I bought the billet aluminum y pipe for my cooling system from XDP instead of the stock plastic ford one. I have the ford E-350 QUIGLEY 4x4 van with the 6.0 L and the XDP y pipe fit perfect although it's listed for the F-350. I'm just happy that's one part I now don't have to worry about failing because it CAN'T. Relatively easy install ounce you get a few things out of the way. With the XDP kit you use the supplied high quality hose clamps to fit all 3 hoses to the y pipe and just cut off with a dremel the stock ford black hard plastic pressure seated clamps off the hoses so no need to put new hoses on. It's such a smart buy for anyone who's y pipe fails or even if your working in that area of the motor you might as well buy one and save yourself the headache down the road.
