The XDP HD Intercooler Pipe With Billet Adapter XD364 eliminates the risk of being left stranded due to a blown intercooler pipe in your 2017-2024 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke. Your factory intercooler pipe is made from a plastic/rubber material that can hardly handle stock load levels. If you do any long-haul heavy towing or hot-shotting, your intercooler pipe can be the next thing to fail. Unfortunately, the intercooler pipe won't just fail while your truck is in the driveway, it'll fail while you're pulling a heavy load, leaving you stranded on the side of the road.
The XDP HD Intercooler Pipe With Billet Adapter XD364 replaces the factory intercooler pipe with a stronger, more reliable unit. Featuring a mandrel-bent, bead-rolled 3" steel pipe, this intercooler pipe also includes silicone couplers that are reinforced for increased strength. To keep this a bolt-on installation, the billet aluminum adapter is specially machined to snap into the OEM location. This intercooler pipe does not require tuning or modifications and includes the O-ring for installation.

A couple of shipping issues that customer service was great to deal with; they threw in 2-day UPS to make it on time, so I couldn't ask for more. Fit is fine. I would have liked to see more detailed instructions. It's not hard to install, but there are some finer details that get missed (broke the locking tab off the Air Temp sensor, it's ok to push HARD on some parts to get the on, and need to grease the orings). Overall, good buy & great customer support, but would have been nice to see an install video.

Easy to install, and it is tight and secure. I don’t feel like I need to worry, and it's an upgrade from stock. Sensor plugged in with no problems. However, the angle pipe was out of round at the edge. Not sure if delivery damage or not. The coating was flaking off around the inside edge, and I had to deburr around the inside edge of the angle pipe to ensure a small shard of metal wasn't ingested. I also knocked the sharp edges of the relocation bracket to prevent chafing. I expected better quality, as a local diesel mechanic talked highly about them. Never communicated with XDP about my issues, as I made it work and I am ok with that. All in all decent product.

Definitely and upgrade from the factory rubber hose. Took about 30 mins to install in the driveway. Only thing I didn’t like is how you have to move the power steering tank out of the factory location. That’s why I put 4 stars.
