Description

Eliminate the hassle of servicing the cooling system in your 2006-2019 GM 6.6L Duramax with the XDP Duramax Radiator Coolant Drain Pipe XD328. Draining the cooling system in your truck requires removal of the lower radiator hose. Once that hose is removed, you'll find yourself scrambling trying to contain the mess of over 4 gallons of coolant. While some use buckets, kiddie pools, and many other methods, none solve the real issue of trying to eliminate the mess and contain the coolant so it can be re-used or properly disposed of without splashing all over the floor of your shop, garage, or driveway.

The XD328 Duramax Radiator Coolant Drain Pipe helps you keep things clean and controlled during routine maintenance. With the included ball valve, you can drain your cooling system with just the turn of a lever. Built from CNC machined billet aluminum, the XD328 installs in-line with one easy cut through the lower factory radiator hose. Simply cut the hose, slide the XDP Radiator Coolant Drain Pipe in place, and tighten down the included T-bolt clamps to complete the installation. Each drain valve comes ready to install and is anodized black for aesthetics and corrosion resistance.

Features:
  • Black Anodized Finish
  • Simply Cut Existing Hose & Install
  • CNC Machined Billet Aluminum Construction
  • Allows Easy Controllable Draining Of Cooling System

The Perfect Solution

Great product and simple install. The other guy's review where he says to drill a hole to drain before you cut works out nice and easy with minimal mess. His review should come as instructions in the box. Every Duramax should have this!

Must Have

A must have when you are draining your coolant. This should have been factory.

Finally a coolant drain

This drain assembly made my life a whole lot easier, no more pulling off the lower radiator hose and trying to catch 4 gallons of coolant, just splice it right into your lower radiator hose and you're done. A quick way to do this is to drill or cut a 1/4" hole at the bottom of the hose and then shove a barbed 1/4" hose connector into the hole and let the coolant all drain into a 5-gallon bucket. Then using a razor blade or hose/PVC cutters, cut the hose right where you made the hole and slip this bad boy in with the two clamps and tighten it up, add the coolant back into the reservoir and you're done. Thanks again XDP for making such a nice part, the adapter is made from machined aluminum and anodized black. The 1/4 turn drain is chrome plated and seems to be of good quality. I added a plug at the bottom of my drain just to be on the safe side.
