The VP44 fuel injection pump is a critical component of the 5.9L 24-Valve
diesel engine. It is responsible for pressurizing the fuel and
distributing it to each cylinder. However they can eventually fail over
time. One of the most common signs of VP44 injection pump failure is a
loss of power. Other symptoms include rough idling, stalling, difficulty starting the engine, and excessive smoke. If you notice any of these symptoms or have a corresponding DTC code on the dashboard, your VP44 pump could
be failing.

Are the computer and electronics replaced with the upgraded Bosch replacement computer?
The PSG’s on our pumps are requalified OE Bosch. They are not always 100% new, although we do replace a high percentage of them that do not pass testing. We do always make sure they are updated to the latest version and not the old style electronics.
Do you have to tap the pump wire to hook up a programmer? And if so is the warranty void?
Tapping the pump wire will be dependent on the programmer being used. That being said, if you DO tap the pump wire on the XDP REMANUFACTURED STOCK VP44 INJECTION PUMP XDIPVR15X there will no longer be the 1 year warranty on the pump.
Does this come with all new orings and gaskets? Like the air intake gasket where it mounts to the manifold.
The XDP Remanufactured Stock VP44 Injection Pump XDIPVR15X includes the pump and banjo seals.
