Many Powerstroke enthusiasts install aftermarket upgrades like plows, off-road lighting, upgraded stereo systems, aftermarket horns, and other aftermarket electronics that can quickly max out the capabilities of your factory charging system.
The XDP HD Series High Output Alternator gives you a substantial output increase over your factory alternator. This allows your electrical system to handle the increased load of these popular aftermarket upgrades. Each HD Alternator comes with a wrinkle black finish for enhanced aesthetics and corrosion resistance. The XD357 is pre-tested with a results card included and ready for installation using the factory mounting locations, factory belt, and existing connections.

Note: Some models are equipped with an 8-rib belt instead of a 6-rib. If your truck is equipped with a 8-rib belt, the pulley from your old alternator will need to be swapped over to complete the installation of the XD357.

Looks good, liked the output verification. Pulley that came with alternator wrong size for 95 Powerstroke. Needed 8 rib got a small 6 rib instead.
