Don't just re-install a factory radiator in your 2003-2007 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke, upgrade it with the XDP Xtra Cool Direct-Fit Replacement Radiator XD298. XDP's Xtra Cool Radiators may look like a factory replacement, but are far from it. Built for increased durability, Xtra Cool Radiators are built using techniques borrowed from the HD and semi-truck industry to maximize cooling efficiency and strength while still giving you the best value.
High Efficiency Core
Xtra Cool Radiators use a high efficiency core to maximize cooling potential. With more fins per inch and heavy-duty tubes, the Xtra Cool Radiators increase cooling efficiency over your stock radiator.
Internally Reinforced
Built with an aluminum brazing technique, the Xtra Cool Radiators have more internal strength due to reinforced end tubes and outside corners where the core is most vulnerable.
Gasket Design
A common failure item in most OE radiators, XDP's Xtra Cool Radiators use a proprietary gasket to withstand front-end flex, along with expansion and contraction.
Revised End Tanks
A fiber reinforced plastic mix provides increased strength. In addition, reinforcement ribs are added to weak spots in the end tanks to increase longevity while eliminating common failure points.
Upgraded Mounting Points
To avoid broken mounts and provide a secure factory-style mounting, the Xtra Cool Radiators have upgraded mounting points to maximize strength.
End Tank Attachment
Xtra Cool Radiators are built using a heavy gauge steel crimp strip to join the end tanks to the core. The steel crimp strip increases strength over the aluminum strip used by the factory. It also helps eliminate core and tank separation issues many experience with the factory radiator.

This is a good radiator and is a direct fit, no problems with the install. The concern was that it arrived slightly damaged with the first tube on the drivers side bent a bit. Must have happened during manufacturing or packaging, the box was in great shape. Since it was my truck and I needed to hit the road I decided not to send it back. Made a 600 mile trip with no problem so I guess it's ok.

Yes. It really is direct fit. I replaced my factory radiator at 224K when the crimped seal on the top tank began to fail. I bought this one because the crimps are steel instead of aluminum and the Performance of the factory radiator was sufficient for me. This radiator cools just as well as OEM, maybe a fuzz better. Would definitely recommend.

2006 f250 6.0. I bought this radiator after my factory one failed at 140k. I first bought one from a local store and it lasted 1 engine heat cycle and it started to leak pretty good at the top and bottom crimp connections. Ordered XDP rad and it showed up in 1 days and installed just like the oem rad. The box it came in was pretty hammered but the rad. was in good shape still. Over all good product and I would buy again.
