Don't just re-install a factory radiator in your 2003-2007 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke, upgrade it with the XDP Xtra Cool Direct-Fit Replacement Radiator XD298. XDP's Xtra Cool Radiators may look like a factory replacement, but are far from it. Built for increased durability, Xtra Cool Radiators are built using techniques borrowed from the HD and semi-truck industry to maximize cooling efficiency and strength while still giving you the best value.
High Efficiency Core
Xtra Cool Radiators use a high efficiency core to maximize cooling potential. With more fins per inch and heavy-duty tubes, the Xtra Cool Radiators increase cooling efficiency over your stock radiator.
Internally Reinforced
Built with an aluminum brazing technique, the Xtra Cool Radiators have more internal strength due to reinforced end tubes and outside corners where the core is most vulnerable.
Gasket Design
A common failure item in most OE radiators, XDP's Xtra Cool Radiators use a proprietary gasket to withstand front-end flex, along with expansion and contraction.
Revised End Tanks
A fiber reinforced plastic mix provides increased strength. In addition, reinforcement ribs are added to weak spots in the end tanks to increase longevity while eliminating common failure points.
Upgraded Mounting Points
To avoid broken mounts and provide a secure factory-style mounting, the Xtra Cool Radiators have upgraded mounting points to maximize strength.
End Tank Attachment
Xtra Cool Radiators are built using a heavy gauge steel crimp strip to join the end tanks to the core. The steel crimp strip increases strength over the aluminum strip used by the factory. It also helps eliminate core and tank separation issues many experience with the factory radiator.

I linstalled this radiator and it dropped right in that could hardly believe it I’ve noticed that the temperatures when towing my fifth wheel trailer run about the same but I notice it cools much faster once you are off the throttle and it’s rolling

Some slight damage to the core upon recieving, seems to be from shipping. The end tank looks to have steel crimps on top of aluminum. Some metal shavings can be seen inside the inlet and outlet tubes of the radiator but it doesn't bother me too much. Also the radiator does not have the xdp painted symbol on the core as the pictures show. Overall it's a great replacement to the oem radiator with an improved design.

The first one I received had a crack in the bottom tank, called and they sent a replacement out asap. second one went in easy, and all is well. It seems much more substantial than the original rad. this one has ribbing across the tanks. super happy! Thanks XDP!
