The PureFlow AirDog A4SPBC085 100GPH Air/Fuel Separation System for your 2001-2010 GM 6.6L Duramax provides the most effective technology designed specifically to remove water, particulates, vapor and entrained air from the diesel fuel in your truck. The AirDog is a lift pump and filtration system, that enhances the fuel delivery to your engine with a commercial duty system.
Your high performance diesel engine demands higher fuel flows. Yet higher fuel flows increase the vacuum at the fuel pump and agitation in the fuel tank. These factors generate additional air/vapor in the fuel system preventing your engine from producing maximum power and efficiency. Additionally, air/vapor can cause galling and pitting of the injector barrel/plunger assembly and also tip erosion. The AirDog eliminates air in the fuel that robs your engine of consistently greater performance and can also cause permanent damage to your injectors. The AirDog also provides the fuel pressures and flows your diesel engine needs to produce maximum power, any time, every time!
The Airdog works by pulling fuel from the fuel tank containing entrained air/vapor, particulate contaminates and unknown quantities of moisture. The fuel passes through the water separator which removes the water and large particulate contaminates. Then, the fuel with only entrained air/vapor and tiny particulate contaminates remaining, enters the fuel pump. Under positive pressure flow, the fuel passes through the fuel filter and the remaining particulate contaminates are caught and contained, the entrained air/vapor is also separated and returned to the tank. The clean fuel is now free of contaminants and water and flows at the proper pressures up to your engine. Each kit includes plumbing, hardware, wiring harness, mounting bracket and all components needed for installation.

Easy as pie works great. The throttle respond time is awesome compared to before. The only thing that was a pain was the quick connect fuel lines that had to come off other than that it easy to put in there

Pretty much easy as pie, you can go on the diesel forums and see many folks saying good things about these units, the fuel lines are just a pain in the butt. I had a little issue that took about a day to resolve with the PureFlow tech support guys. If you send them emails it is A LOT easier to get a hold of them (DO NOT CALL, trust me it is hard to catch them free) and they will chat with you back and forth even from home ~10:00 at night.I would definitely recommend the Airdog units based on simplicity, a good product, and GREAT technical support (remember keep it in email form).

Which kit do I need? (I have EFI Live with cold air intake and 4 inch exhaust - 2004 GMC Duramax.) I don't think I'm over the 500 mark, but I might be close.

A 100GPH-125GPH setup will be best for this setup. Running a 150-165GPH pump on a truck less than 700HP will not hurt the pump, but it could cause you headaches down the road. Running way too much fuel to an injection pump that can't handle it can cause an increase in fuel pressure, which cause damage to that injection pump and possibly cause it to fail. Running a pump to fit your horsepower is suggested and will help keep you away from small potential issues.
