The Banks Power 42799-B Monster-Ram Intake W/ Heater Grid & Billet Intake Plate from XDP is the high-quality part your 2019-2024 Ram 6.7L Diesel needs. This intake was designed using advanced CFD software and tested extensively for real-world drivability. It is a direct-fit replacement made of cast aluminum, providing immediate power and acceleration improvements.
The Monster-Ram intake system includes the High-Flow Heater and Billet Intake Plate. The High-Flow Heater replaces the restrictive heater grid plate, allowing for better airflow. The vertical coil-style heater performs similarly to the factory heater grid but without obstructing airflow. The Banks Intake Plate replaces the stock grid heater plate, eliminating any blockages and turbulence in the airflow path.
The Banks Power Monster-Ram Intake With Billet Heater & Intake Plate reengineers the truck's intake manifold. The original intake elbow is sharp and constricted to accommodate the No. 1 fuel line. Banks redesigned the fuel line to improve airflow and reduce obstruction. The factory intake manifold has a flow rate of 421 cfm (32.16 lbs/min), while the Monster-Ram intake manifold with intake plate has a flow rate of 936 cfm (71.5 lbs/min). This increased airflow provides a boost to the turbine without causing backpressure. For applications requiring higher horsepower, the improved throttle response allows for a more efficient engine with greater headroom than the factory intake manifold can offer.

Installation Tech Tip:
The MAP Sensor on this truck is mounted to the back of the intake elbow which you will be replacing with this Banks Monster-Ram. While replacement of the MAP Sensor is not required during the installation of this product, soot buildup over time can affect sensor accuracy by interfering with the pressure and temperature readings. For this reason, many take the opportunity to inspect, clean, and replace the MAP Sensor if necessary.
Note:
This intake system is not compatible with the Cab & Chassis models.
