PedalMonster is an OBD-II connected throttle sensitivity controller for gas and diesel vehicles and pairs perfectly to the iDash 1.8 or Derringer Tuner already installed on your vehicle. It is designed and assembled in California and fixes flaws in other throttle controllers. The kit is controlled through the Banks mobile app on your phone (iOS and Android). PedalMonster offers safety features like Active Safety, Reverse Safety, and Adjustable Low-Speed Trim. It can be used with all versions of the PedalMonster. If adding PedalMonster to an existing Derringer with a switch, an OBD splitter is required.
Many electronic throttles do not map linearly with pedal input, which can lead to a dampened and unresponsive feel on the road. PedalMonster fills the dip in your factory pedal map and restores the responsive feel of a linear cable throttle. It offers City, Sport, and Track modes with 10 levels of refinement. PedalMonster adds throttle sensitivity based on vehicle data, including speed, transmission, and throttle information. Other throttle boosters lack access to vehicle data and can feel twitchy and prone to failure. PedalMonster is the only throttle sensitivity controller connected via the vehicle's OBD-II port, allowing it to read vehicle data and provide smooth pedal response and enhanced safety features. Other throttle controller devices cannot adapt dynamically to driving conditions.
