Warm up your engine faster on cold mornings with BD Diesel's High Idle Kit. Quick and easy install, the High Idle switch mounts on the dashboard and plugs in under the dash. The rotating switch allows for adjustable high idle speeds - 900 / 1200 / 1500 / 1800 / 2100 RPM.

Works like a champ, easy install except for the CPS which took me a bit to get the connector off and the new one on.

I bought one installed per the manual and would not work every time I hit the brake my rpm would jump and I had no throttle bd sent me a new one worked until I hit the brake and back to no throttle and rpm jumping. bd said both kits tested fine even though neither worked on my truck

This is a good product but not that easy to install. And the one I got the switch is bad and IV been fighting with bd diesel for 3 weeks and have got nowhere.

Works awesome only hard part was the cam position plug that was a pain but other then that it is awesome no complaints I mounted my box on the top of the fuse panel under the hood use your own screws the double sided tape sucks

What dose the bell crank apps mean?
This BD-Power 1036620 High-Idle Kit is for the 98.5-2004 Dodge 5.9L Cummins with accelerator pedal position sensor (APPS) located under a plastic cover below the intake elbow on the driver’s side of the engine. The sensors connector faces downward.
On all other models, the sensor is built into the top of the accelerator pedal below the dashboard.
2005-2006 Dodge 5.9L Cummins trucks need item # BD1036621
2007-2014 Dodge 5.9L/6.7L Cummins need item # BD1036622
(2004 trucks with the APPS sensor built into the top of the accelerator pedal below the dashboard will need the 2005-2006 kit & 2004 trucks with the APPS located under a plastic cover below the intake elbow on the driver’s side of the engine will need the 98.5-2004 kit.)
